i was lucky enough to win this is a giveaway a while ago now but had never got round to using it, mainly because i was a little unsure how to do so and i was quite content with my daily bronzer/blusher combo. i heard a few other bloggers raving about how amazing contouring is and i decided to take the plunge and try out this much loved product.
the packaging is typical of sleek. the black casing gives it a more expensive feel, and it has a massive mirror which is perfect for midday touch ups. i do have to say that i'm not a fan of the carboard package it comes in (in fact i hate it so much i didn't photograph it) it just cheapens it and doesn't fit very well with black packaging. just my opinion but i think it is a little unnecessary. (think of the trees!)
the product is made up of a matt bronzer (often so hard to find!) and a pretty pearly highlighter, the shade of these is dependant on whether you pick up the light, medium or dark. (mine is light for anyone wondering!)
the bronzer is highly pigmented and blends so easily onto the skin but you do have to be careful to ujse a little at a time or you end up with some beautiful brown stripes across your face. i tend to blend this out using a large fluffy brush to give it a softer look. the highlighter is prehaps a little too shimmery for my liking but as long as i only apply a very small amount it doesn't seem as bad.
i would say that for you super pale girls this may not be your perfect product, just because it is so pigmented! maybe have a swatch before you buy it?
this is a great kit and a later found it comes with a lovely little booklet explaining how to contour, so i needn't have worried about having no clue what to do! at £6.50 it's not massively expensive. and it lasts for ages! i've been using mine almost every day and i've barely made a dent! so i think that it is worth that price tag even if i won't be using it all the time. would i buy it again? yes i think i would! if you're looking for an easy way to get those amazing model-esque cheekbones then this is definitely for you!
have you tried the face contour kit? what's your favourite sleek product?
