the body shop facial buffer

| body shop facial buffer £3- the body shop |

this is a handy little tool that has been around for a good while now but i have only recently got my hands on! at only £3 it hardly breaks the bank and is the perfect way to really give your skin a well needed boost!
you really can feel the difference in your skin from the second you use this. it is left noticeably softer and smoother. it easily lathered up and removed the cleasing wash from my face, leaving no flakey skin at all! i found that you really didn't need much cleanser for this to work effectively which for me is a massive plus because it can be so easy to spend a fortune on good skincare!
having felt the buffer with my hands before using it i was worried it might be a bit too harsh on the skin but once it was placed under a little warm running water it felt far less so. i think that with daily use the buffer may become less effective so it will eventually have to be replaced. it also needs a good deep clean at least once a week to remove all of the dirt and gross stuff.

the tool is so cute and tiny making it perfect to chuck in an overnight bag or a toiletries bag for your holidays. it leaves you with no excuse not to keep up your skin care regieme when you're away from home!

my skin is super, super dry so i often find the exfoliating once or twice a week is simply not enough. i can use this product daily without it being too harsh and it effectivey removes all flakey skin leaving a perfect base for make-up. i then use my usual exfoliant a further few times during the week just to really give my skin that extra bit of 'oomph'!

what do you use to give your skin a boost?

  3. Great idea, great to take in an overnight bag as you say - my exfoliating bottle takes up so much room! I have dry skin too and bio oil has helped, have you used it? It is a bit greasy so I apply it overnight and it works it's magic then! After washing in the morning i then use Simple moisturiser, works a treat. :)
