|| nyc natural matte foundation £2.99- superdrug ||
i'm always on the hunt for the perfect foundation. for me creating the illusion of flawless skin is always the aim when i do my make-up and if i can do that on a budget that's even better! the claims made by this foundation definitely made me stop and take notice. i'm constantly impressed by the quality of nyc products (especially for the price!) but somehow i was still a little snobbish when i saw this... surely a foundation costing less than £3 couldn't give me everything i was looking for.
the packaging is clean and i personally feel it doesn't reflect the price, which is lovely. the tube is easy to use, as well as being hygienic. but you don't get much product which is a shame however at that price you could easily afford to repurchase it!
the colour is probably the best match i've ever had! i was so surprised! i would however say that i think the shade i have is the lightest the do, so this won't be great for all you pale girls i'm afraid. i often find this is a common problem amongst drug store foundations.
the product is easy to blend and gives a lovely even finish on the skin. i would say it is a medium coverage foundation, definitely a lot less coverage than i am used to. it felt light and natural. did it last eight hours like it claims? i wouldn't say so but the staying power wasn't bad, i wore it without a primer or powder so perhaps that would help?
i'm pleasantly surprised by this product. i think is worth a try if you're looking for a new foundation, at only £3 it's hardly going to break the bank, and who knows you may just like it? i think it will be the perfect summer foundation for me with a little powder applied on top.
have you tried any nyc products? what's your favourite foundation at the moment?
